Meet Rival's Cruz'N in Top Gear OA AXJ NF ...Cruz'N.    Cruz'N came to us in July 2013 and he's made himself known as one very important family member.  CruzN started competing in August 2015 and cruise right into Excellent in January 2016.   He's a little go getter who would rather be outside than in and would rather run than walk.  When it comes to agility he's very serious and seems to get what it's all about even at his young age.  When not doing agility he loves to play Frisbee and swim.

Kenzi finished her MACH (Master Agility Championship) title on August 1, 2004, her USDAA ADCH title in September 2005 at the Texas regionals and her MACH2 on October 7, 2005.  Kenzi has also earned her GRCA Agility Dog Hall of Fame award.  Following her big sister, Kenzi was the second Golden Retriever in Colorado to earn these coveted titles.   Kenzi also earned a spot to compete in both AKC and USDAA Nationals in 2003, 2004 & 2005 and competed in the USDAA GP Semi-finals at Nationals.  Kenzi placed in the top 10 in 2004 for GRCA agility Goldens, and placed 2nd in the Colorado team competition at the 2004 AKC National Championships.  When not competing in agility Kenzi loved to compete in hunting, dock dogs and obedience competitions.  Her favorite pastime was swimming and she would often let us know as we passed a river or lake that she thought we should stop and take a dip.

In August of 2005 Kenzi was diagnosed with Canine Lymphoma.  While on chemotherapy Kenzi  continued to run in agility and earned her ADCH and her MACH2 and was well on her way to MACH3 with 20 double Q's and quickly adding up those points.  Unfortunately the lymphoma  invaded her bone marrow in August of 2006 and we had to say good-bye to our special girl.  It was a sad good-bye but we had a great year together and we had time to celebrate her life with her.  She went shopping with mommy, she went swimming as often as possible, she ate all her favorite foods and slept in all her favorite places.  Kenzi had a joyous year playing, laughing and smiling all the way and in the end she left us in a peaceful sleep under her favorite tree in the back yard surrounded by family and friends who shared stories and memories of Kenzi's wonderful life.   Miss you sweet girl, love you always....Mommy

Rev'n was one of 11 puppies born to Tar'n in 2009.  She started her agility career in November 2011 and in January 2012 she earned her NAJ.    She loves running agility and can't understand why she has to wait her turn.  Rev'n is a lot like her Momma-T, She's very small in stature but huge in personality, she's got a lot of drive and she's very independent,  loves to play but not so keen on training :-)

Fl'n is a rescue who came to us from the Omaha Humane Society.   He loves agility and hates to sit by and watch while others play.   Fl'n made his agility debut in  Nebraska in May 06.   He said his first trial had to be in front of his friends from Omaha.      Since then Fl'n has continued to get better and better, bringing home lots of pretty blue ribbons and making his siblings proud.   Fl'n has also qualified for USDAA Nationals for the past 5 years and in 2011 Fl'n was a GP Semi-finalist.  In March of 2011 Fl'n earned his first Championship title, the ADCH in USDAA.  In November 2012 Fl'n received his Tournament Master Platinum title, the highest title in USDAA Tournaments as well as qualifying for AKC Nationals in 2013.   When he's not doing agility he likes to herd the Goldens around the yard as if they were his private little stock of sheep.  They hate it which makes it even more fun for Fl'n.   We are so lucky to have Fl'n come into our lives, he is a wonderful addition to our canine family and the other dogs just love him.  We're not sure if he thinks he's a Golden or they think they are Border Collies.  Either way they are one big happy agility family.

Tar'n is also well known for her TV and Print Ad work.  Click here to see one of her TV commercials

Tar'n is a half sister to Meg'n and is quite the little spunkmeister.  Tar'n is a wonderful agility teammate , she's fast and loves to make her own decisions, which keeps Shar on her toes    She loves to swim and was responsible for teaching Kenzi that the pond in our back yard is good for more than just drinking.  Tar'n entered her first AKC trial in April of 2005 and in less than a year moved into Excellent  and in June of 2009 she earned her MACH.   Tar'n continues to collect a nice array of colorful placement  ribbons.  In the fall of 2008 Tar'n earned her USDAA ADCH title in Lawrence KS and in March of 2011 she earned her MACH2.   When not playing on the agility field she also competes in hunt test and loves the thrill of the hunt, especially the water marks.   Off the field they are play pals and often find a way to get into trouble together.  In December of 2009 Tar'n gave birth to 11 wonderful puppies, 2 of them are at home with us.  Many of those puppies have gone on to have great performance careers which has earned Tar'n the title of Outstanding Dam.

Sheena.   She was our 2nd Golden Retriever and a wonderful addition to our family.   Sheena was almost 2 when we rescued her from a family that didn't want her anymore.  At first she would run off and we'd have to hunt her down but it didn't take her long to realize we loved her and would never give her up.   Sheena died of cancer when she was 8  but her short time with us was full of great fun and memories.

Shanno.  Our first Golden and what a pleasure he was.  Shanno introduced us into the world of owning a dog whose presence was bigger than life.   Shanno hit the scales at about 100 pounds and there wasn't an ounce of fat on that boy.  He was a big, true to the breed, Golden yet he was a  mix.   His mother was a pedigreed Golden and his father was a great fence jumper of unknown breed.   Shanno was an only child for many years and then he welcomed Sheena, Meg'n and Kenzi until he died at the age of 14.  Shanno was the one who started us on our path to the many Goldens that followed.  He was one of a kind and had a knack for making us laugh with his funny antics.   We often called him the big old dumb golden boy but he was anything but dumb.  He totally sucked us in and took advantage of a dogs life.

Race'n, what a boy he's gonna be.  He's another one of Tar'ns 11 puppies and the opposite end of the spectrum from Rev'n in size.   Loves to play agility and has a great work ethic.  Race'n made his agility debut in November 2011 and he and Norm are on their way to a very successful career.  This guy has it all, great looks, great personality, lots of drive and he's a lover boy.  Any girls dream!!!!

Meg'n....She's how it all got started!  We wanted to train a dog in obedience and ended up making it a full time hobby.  Meg'n was the first Golden Retriever in Colorado to earn the Master Agility Championship title, MACH2, MACH3, MACH4, MACH5, MACH6 and also first to earn the Golden Retriever Club Agility Hall of Fame award.  She was also the first Golden Retriever in Colorado to earn the USDAA ADCH title among many other USDAA titles listed above.  Meg'n qualified for AKC National agility championships as well as the USDAA World Championships every year she competed.  In 2007 Meg'n placed 35th out of 300 dogs in the AKC National Championships held in Columbus Ohio.      In April 2008 Meg'n earned her 6th MACH title and then retired to performance to earn her PAX title.   She also earned 1st place in Performance Grand Prix at the Rocky Mountain Regional to earn a finalist spot at the National Championships in Arizona in the fall of 2008. Meg'n was running agility until she was 11 and then couldn't understand retirement.  She still wanted to do agility just a few months before she passed and Norm would set the jumps to 8" and let her have some fun.
